In a time of peace, when all memory of war has been erased, is when the wisest may know tragedy lies in wait.
Their lives were restful; saturated with sunlight and plentiful prey. The Clans ignored each of the others, for the most part, and there hadn't been a skirmish or quarrel within memory of any but the eldest of cats. Peace hung tranquilly over the forest, and for once, it seemed as though it would remain this way forever. But it was then that the stranger came.
Blood shall be shed. The stars will fall from the sky, and darkness shall sweep over the land...
With him came famine and misfortune. The prey that sustained the Clans no longer was to be found. Corpses of dead animals poisoned the waters of the streams and rivers, and plague swept across the land.
Only in darkness may we dream; dream of what good we may do to drive this scourge from our lands.... The fate of the Forest lies in your paws.

Pyre Grove Nestled deep within the forest is a dense grove of maple and sumac woven into a tight thicket. In autumn, the leaves blaze bright crimson and gold, imitating the hues of flame.
**The area is popular for both tracking and hunting practice, as well as for formal hunting parties. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]
Silhouette Plains A vast sea of grasses, flowering plants, and small bushes, the sky here is constantly a clouded, raining grey, due to the elevation. The thick undergrowth is full of tunnel-like paths, making it a confusing maze. For each path in, there is only a few ways out, and many young apprentices have gotten lost for hours when having wandered in. Several shallow streams, often mere trickles of water, wind their way through the grass; invisible until you've fallen in.
**The most prominent of NightClan's hunting territories, kits are never allowed in, and apprentices must have express permission from Robinstar before being allowed in. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]

Ravens' Hollow A tall stand of dead birch trees surrounding an irregularily shaped clearing, the undergrowth here is thin, dry, and sickly. When the sun's rays strike the hollow at sunhigh, the whole area fills with light and the birches cast shadows on the ground, outlining the shape of a raven in flight.
**The undergrowth here shelters little to no prey, though due to the open space, it is a popular place to train for combat. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]

Ivy Grove A shaded corner of the forest, bordering GladeClan's Valley of Moonflowers, the Ivy Grove is comprised of looping terraces of gently twisting, flowering vines. In the evening, scattered white lilies (moonflowers) open their fragrant blooms, perfuming the air gently. A wide pool of water, its far side a mat of vines, prevents entry to GladeClan territory.
**Prey here consists mainly of songbirds. The thick undergrowth, however, makes it practically useless for training or hunting, so it is used mainly as a gathering place. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]
Silent Pines A dark forest of towering pine trees at the very edge of GladeClan territory. The land lies at the northernmost point in the mountains, with a dense mist cover constantly present. It borders the RainClan territories, leading to a more temperate atmosphere despite the coniferous forest.
**The undergrowth, while mossy and dense, is short in height, making it a fine place to catch prey if you can manage to hide from it. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]
Valley of the Moonflowers A quiet stand of tall, moss-covered trees, bordering a shallow-sided ravine. A small, tricking stream winds its way down the rocks, and the gentle slope harbours a thick growth of white-flowering, fragrant blooms; their misty blossoms opening at the first sign of dusk.
** Prey here is scarse, as the moonflowers provide little but shelter. It is a popular territory for tracking and battle training however, as the flowers' scent masks al others. Moderators: »D.r.e.a.m.b.o.u.n.d«, [Robin]
